2024 has been a special year for Hanna Hats, marking 100 years in business. We took this opportunity to readd some beloved styles from our archives. Our Vintage Cap Patchwork Tweed is a classic and perfect for someone who loves a traditional flat cap. Each Vintage Cap Patchwork Tweed is 100% unique which makes it a special gift for a special person in your life. Each patchwork piece is crafted using authentic, high-quality Irish tweeds expertly stitched together using the ancient craft of quilting. Please note that each cap will vary from the photographs on our website. If you think they would prefer a plain cap but in the same style, our Vintage Cap Tweed might be a more suitable option.

Eight Piece Cap Tweed

If the person you’re shopping for isn’t a fan of flat caps, then one of our newsboy caps may be more suited to them. Our Eight Piece Cap Tweed is the most similar style to the style Thomas Shelby wears in Peaky Blinders. Our Eight Piece Cap Tweed is available in a variety of colours and patterns, and in a selection of limited-edition colours for 2024.

If you think they'd like a newsboy style cap but one with a smaller, less voluminous body, then we would recommend our Connery Cap Tweed or our JP Cap Tweed. Our Connery Cap Tweed has a neat body and flat peak, while our JP Cap Tweed has a neat body and a curved, extended peak. Both styles are available in a selection of Irish, Scottish Harris, & English Tweeds.

Back in 2024

No.84 Hat Tweed

This was our first ever hat and it was named after our telephone number at the time it was designed and made. The No.84 Hat Tweed is a shorted-brimmed trilby-style hat that has a curved brim at the back. The body of the No.84 Hat Tweed has also been specially shaped to a point at the front of the hat, to give it a unique shape which you can see in the photo below. It has an oval/oblong shape with approximately 1 ½ inch brim and 4-inch-tall body.

Some people have asked us what's the difference is between our best-selling Walking Hat Tweed and the No.84, the Walking Hat Tweed has more of a round than oblong shape, and it's body has not been shaped. Its brim is approximately 1.75 inches while its body is 4 inches. The No.84 Hat Tweed would make a special gift for a Hanna Hats fan.

Eleanor Hat Tweed

The Eleanor Hat Tweed is the ultimate ladies bucket hat. This round, foldable, fully lined hat is the perfect winter accessory to keep you warm yet stylish. This hat has a 3 ¼ inch (6cm) brim (approximately- based on a size Medium) and a 3 ½ inch (9 ½ cm) tall body (approximately- based on a size Medium). Available in a selection of Irish and Donegal Tweeds, we think the lady in your life will love this hat.
