This is a beautiful hat! It is absolutely top quality, and it fits like a dream! Hanna Hat linen flatcaps are my go-to on those windy walking days, because they fit SO WELL! My only gripe is that the hat is a little more "green" than "khaki" to my eyes now that I have it -- and to be honest, we can probably blame that in part on my laptop/phone/monitor screens for my expecting a darker tan color. This is definitely only a "mild" gripe, though, since I really do love the "khaki green" -- it just feels a little less "universal" for color combinations. I love Hanna hats! I'm an American theater and opera director living and working in Kobe, Japan. I've been wearing Hanna hats since for over 40 years--still have every one and many occasionally appear in my theater productions. I treasure the older ones . . . but the new designs are a knockout. I recently decided that since the weather has been gettin increasingly hot in the summer, and because I love the JP design and look, I'm wearing the charcoal gray linen JP now. I got the winter version of the JP in dark charcoal gray and loved how dressy and sharp looking it was. This linen one is spectacular for spring and summer.

My new favorite cap I’ve owned quite a few flat caps over the years, but this Donegal cap from Hanna Hats became my favorite almost the moment I put it on. The fit is absolutely spot-on—comfortable and secure without being tight—and the shape looks fantastic straight out of the box. The Donegal tweed is even better in person. The grey herringbone has plenty of character and texture while remaining understated enough to wear with just about anything. It feels beautifully made, substantial without being heavy, and has that unmistakable quality you hope for from a genuine Irish-made cap. Most importantly, it’s simply a cap I genuinely enjoy wearing. Great fit, great craftsmanship, and a classic look that should only get better with age. Couldn’t be happier with it.
