LIMITED EDITION PRODUCT
With its full-bodied fit, the Vintage Cap is designed with tradition and authenticity in mind. A classic Flat Cap style for centuries, this iconic flat cap style is one of our best-selling flat cap styles since its introduction in the 1960’s.
The concealed stud-button, flat peak protects the face from the rain, wind and sun making this cap a perfect accessory for running errands and enjoying leisurely pursuits.
Each piece is crafted using authentic, colourful, heavy-weight Irish tweeds expertly stitched together using the ancient craft of quilting. Historically, quilted fabric was made from the salvageable parts of old clothing or blankets which were recycled to create a new patchwork fabric.
At Hanna Hats we use the highest quality tweeds to create our patchworks, and often cut patches from irregular shapes which are a by-product of our production, adding additional sustainability credentials to this eco-friendly cloth.
Just like the head that wears this cap, each one is totally unique!

Every piece is handmade, so allow 5–15 working days for production before dispatch. Delivery times below count from dispatch.

Ireland: UPS Standard, 1–3 working days. Free on orders over €55.
UK: Royal Mail, 2–3 working days, €9.00
Europe: UPS Standard, 3–7 working days, €13.95
USA: UPS Priority, 2–5 working days, €12.95
Canada: UPS Priority, 2–10 working days, €16.95
Rest of world: UPS Priority, 5–15 working days, €29.95
Delivery times are estimates and can vary with location and customs. Orders to the UK, EU, Canada and USA are Delivered Duty Paid, so the price you pay is the final price. Exchanges and returns
You can return or exchange items within 30 days of receiving them (Europe, USA and Canada). Items must be unworn, in original condition, with all tags and labels attached. Regular-priced items can be returned or exchanged. Sale items are exchange only. Custom-made items (size or colour) can't be returned or exchanged.
Return and exchange postage:
Ireland: free (An Post)
Europe: €16.00 (UPS)
USA and Canada: €24.95 (UPS)
Postage is at your cost unless the error was ours. The item stays your responsibility until it reaches the workshop, so keep your proof of postage.
To start, email info@hannahats.com with the item and your reason. We'll send a payment link for the postage charge, then a returns label within 24 hours. Print the label and the three invoices, and attach the invoices to the outside of the box to avoid duties and taxes. Returns without the Returns Form may not be processed.
Approved returns are refunded to your original payment method, minus the original shipping cost. UK, Northern Ireland and rest-of-world customers should email info@hannahats.com for a tailored policy.
- Products should be stored in cool, dry, airy conditions and not exposed to direct sunlight.
- Wool products are naturally water repellent and resistant, but not fully waterproof. Should your cap/hat get soaked, we would recommend putting a small towel inside the cap/hat, place it on a towel and allow it to dry naturally indoors, away from any heat source.
- Products should not be machine washed or tumble dried.
- Products should not be treated with substances (e.g.) starch, soaps, sprays.
- Products should be dry cleaned only using a delicate cycle with less moisture.
- If creasing occurs, you can press your cap at home using an iron on a medium to high heat, you can see a video showing you how to do on our Headwear Product Care page

My most recent hat is top center. Sorry about the upside down picture. I guess you could say getting this was a little upside down, which was absolutely not Hanna’s fault. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my first Donegal cap.
I chose the Vintage Heavy Patchwork Tweed cap.
As an aircraft machinist, my life is very detail oriented and given to precision, and I must say, I am quite impressed by the artistry and craftsmanship which went into the quilted stitching of these heavy tweed fabrics.
I also love contrasting colors, as my clothing ensembles are always vibrant and colorful, and this cap is just stunningly beautiful in that regard.
I just could not be happier with this cap!
This will just be the first of additional caps that I will be ordering from Donegal, and I will also be letting my friends know where they can order such a fine product as this is.

Very colorful, eye-catching limited edition patchwork cap that fetches tons of compliments every time I wear it! The material that is used is extremely unique.

bought my first hanna in a secondhand store in Amsterdam for a few euro. I worn it for years every day, till i lost it on my sailboat. Did some months with out butt order a new one from Irland. wenn i gott it it was great, i put it on and was home. I LUV THE HANNA HATS.

I love it. The only thing is that giving the large and thick material, it is quite big for a Medium. I owned a few Hanna hats and medium was always a good fit, but not for this one. I wish I had knew that as I would have ordered a small. I am planning to get it fitted by my seamstress.
The best quality cap I EVER bought or owned. Would never have found you without the visit you had from Luke "Ming" Flanagan.
Obviously, recommending your products and will be buying more.
