Material

Linen, which is made from the flax plant recognised by its “wee blue blossom”, has a long history in Ireland stretching back to the first millennium, and it was one of the main industries during the plantation of Ulster from the 1600’s. There are only a handful of mills producing Irish Linen today, and we are proud to support this ancient industry.

Please note that due to different screens and devices, the colours of tweed may vary slightly. The Limited-Edition Baby Blue and Slate Grey are slightly lighter in reality than they appear in our photos.

Skipper Cap Linen: A Mariner Classic

A stylish summer alternative, the Skipper Cap Linen has a spherical body with voluminous crown which features a high centre band providing a secure fit, and a generous flat peak which shields the face from the sun.

Linen is a natural breathable fabric which means it’s ideal to wear in warmer climates as it transmits sun away from the wearer leaving them cool in the summer sun.

I have bought several hats from you and like most of my choices. Sometimes the photos don't look the same when I get them. I decided to go with XXL but it was too big for me. This was totally my fault. The style in person wasn't what I wanted in the real life. That is always a problem with anything bought online. Again, not your fault. Like I said, I have many other hats I got from you that I love. I hope to find a friend with a large head who could use it. Thank you for asking.-Bruce
