The Daithí Cap, name after a 4th generation Hanna, is a full-bodied flat cap similar to the classic Vintage Cap but with a longer, curved peak. The extended peak makes it ideal for keeping the sun from the face whilst out walking, on the golf course, racetrack or whilst driving.
Each piece is crafted using authentic, high-quality Irish & Scottish Harris woollen tweeds. Wool is an ideal, natural fabric for headwear as it naturally warm, breathable, stain resistant, crease resistant and above all eco-friendly.

Every piece is handmade, so allow 5–15 working days for production before dispatch. Delivery times below count from dispatch.

Ireland: UPS Standard, 1–3 working days. Free on orders over €55.
UK: Royal Mail, 2–3 working days, €9.00
Europe: UPS Standard, 3–7 working days, €13.95

Delivery times are estimates and can vary with location and customs. Orders to the UK, EU, Canada and USA are Delivered Duty Paid, so the price you pay is the final price. Exchanges and returns
You can return or exchange items within 30 days of receiving them (Europe, USA and Canada). Items must be unworn, in original condition, with all tags and labels attached. Regular-priced items can be returned or exchanged. Sale items are exchange only. Custom-made items (size or colour) can't be returned or exchanged.

Ireland: free (An Post)
Europe: €16.00 (UPS)
USA and Canada: €24.95 (UPS)
Postage is at your cost unless the error was ours. The item stays your responsibility until it reaches the workshop, so keep your proof of postage.
To start, email info@hannahats.com with the item and your reason. We'll send a payment link for the postage charge, then a returns label within 24 hours. Print the label and the three invoices, and attach the invoices to the outside of the box to avoid duties and taxes. Returns without the Returns Form may not be processed.
Approved returns are refunded to your original payment method, minus the original shipping cost. UK, Northern Ireland and rest-of-world customers should email info@hannahats.com for a tailored policy.

- Products should be stored in cool, dry, airy conditions and not exposed to direct sunlight.
- Wool products are naturally water repellent and resistant, but not fully waterproof. Should your cap/hat get soaked, we would recommend putting a small towel inside the cap/hat, place it on a towel and allow it to dry naturally indoors, away from any heat source.
- Products should not be machine washed or tumble dried.
- Products should not be treated with substances (e.g.) starch, soaps, sprays.
- Products should be dry cleaned only using a delicate cycle with less moisture.
- If creasing occurs, you can press your cap at home using an iron on a medium to high heat, you can see a video showing you how to do this on our Headwear Product Care page

Fantastic Hat, I had gotten a flat gray hat from Hanna Hats when I visited Ireland in 2016. Used it everyday for the last 8 to 9 years. Thought I would get another, and am very happy with it.

The Daithi cap is a fantastic looking cap, the longer brim gives it kind of a classic look and the brown fleck colour looks much better than expected. The picture on the website makes it look lighter than it is, the darker brown it actually is with the colorful flecks looks simply fantastic.

My first and certainly not my last Hanna! The Daithi in Black and Charcoal Herringbone. Perfect fit right out of the box...well done on the packaging...a story in itself. Bonus points for the lining, a beautiful red colour contrast to the black.

I love this hat! While I have many baseball and “Irish” caps, I now reach for this beautiful Hannah hat when I head outside. It’s my new go-to fav for the following reasons: love the style, doesn’t blow off in a stiff breeze, is super comfortable, AND provides excellent eye protection from the sun.

Great design, and I just love the colour. Can't wait to bust out a sweater, boots, and my hat in the spring. Delivery was quick, but there were import duties here in Canada. Still worth it though. I want to buy another one to be honest. I wear a 7.5 size hat and a large fit well. Not tightly though, but a good hold. If you're looking for a well made hat with style, it's well worth the money.

Great hat, fits well. With the peak, my glasses are protected from the elements. So less cleaning of the lenses in the rain, and the peak offers shade from the sun. Material thinner than expected, but not a deal breaker.

Firstly I love your hats and I have more than a few. I tend to like the heavier material hats that hold their intended shape a little better that these ones. I like the style of these but they seem to look different and kind of sloppy every time I put one on! Having said that i just ordered one of those patchy looking colourful special edition driving hats from you! Im hoping they are a little "thicker" Thanks for your great hats through the years!!

I love the shape of this hat. I usually wear eight piece hats but this is a standout for me. It is beautifully made and the quality and attention to detail is clearly visible. I’m fairly sure that I won’t bump in to many people wearing a hat that looks as good as this.

Size L is 60-61. I measured it. Size is exactly 60. My head is 60,5. So, it runs a bit small
