“Kiss me, I’m Irish” — that’s what came to mind when I got this cap on St. Patrick’s Day. This is another handcrafted piece from the Land of Shamrock ☘️ added to my Hanna Hats collection. The quality is outstanding — it sits very securely on the head, has that pleasant scent of good wool, and the color is, in my opinion, really interesting… I’d call it a....kind of young green… and of course, those rainbow-like speckles! This is my second Hanna hat. I can’t say enough good things about them. They are my everyday and Sunday hats unless I am doing grubby work on the property. Nice fitting design with beautiful weaves…

Without a doubt the best in my collection of flat caps. The tweed is fantastic quality, the sewing, form and fit of the cap is brilliant. The Tailor Cap is a great design and I hope that there will be more variations of it that I can add to my collection. Wax cotton? Linen? Different tweeds perhaps? Thank you.

Requested a brown tweed colour change. Same material and weight, just brown instead of green. Cap is just perfect, same quality as my first tailor tweed cap, but a little heavier (warmer). Looks great with my OD green M65 field jacket that I wear most often in the winter.

My Father wore Hana Hats (flat caps) in the 1970 - 1990's and I always admired the quality. Ordered the Tailor flat cap in herringbone black & cream (320 grams) and was so impressed with the cap I ordered another with colour change to Irish tweed brown fleck salt & pepper (420grams). This cap is my favorite of the few I own. The brim fits perfectly against my forehead, and the soft elastic headband is comfortable enough for all-day wear, without leaving any marks. The textured wool gives it a distinct, high-quality look and feel.

I have come to expect perfect fit and sizing from Hanna’s. The tailor fit is perfect. I am still partial to the donegal touring cap but this hat makes a perfect gift for Dad. Thanks Hannas keep up the good work.

I've had my eye on a Hannah hat for sometime, but I've always been really weary about ordering anything online. So imagine my surprise when I happen to come across them being sold here at a holiday market in Chicago, Illinois, USA. I IMMEDIATELY PICKED ONE UP. Never have I gotten so many compliments from a cap. While I was devastated when my dog decided to treat it like another one of her chew toys, I'm glad to know that the quality & craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. I only hope I can find an obedience school as high a quality now.
I've never purchased a hat for any other reasons than purely utilitarian ones, until now. This hat looks fabulous and I feel good wearing it.
My third Hanna, dark green fleck touring cap. Joins a linen and tweed patchwork touring I obtained stateside. I thought it was extremely fast shipping. Saw another patchwork Erin cap on sale now that I must have.

Tough ordering something that requires size online. It was NOT misrepresented by the business. My head is between sizes. Wish I ordered one size up. Other than that it’s of amazing quality and handsome Irish cap.

ordered on wed 25/02/26, arrived this morning , sat 28/02/26: i was not expecting that speed of delivery! Love the cap,the colour was as per the photo on-line,and the fit is better than all my previous caps bought elsewhere.All in all i'm very pleased.Will come back in the future for another cap,but don't tell the wife!

I purchased the Tailor Cap Tweed in the Donegal Tweed - Grey Herringbone with Multicolour Overcheck color, in a size Medium (58-59cm). In US sizing, I normally wear a size 7-1/4" to 7-3/8" cap, and the Medium from Hanna Hats fits me perfectly. Unfortunately, I found the color I purchased to be lighter in real life than what was shown on the website (ie. it's a lighter grey rather than a darker one) as of viewing the images in December of 2025. That being said, what is also not shown in any of the advertising is that the liner is a purple fabric, closest to the color aubergine (aka. eggplant purple) for reference. Additionally, the brim of the cap is soft and flexible, and does not hold shape when bent. Lastly, the biggest downside fit/fashion-wise for me is that the upper corners of the cap do not fit nearly as snug as shown in the advertising images (as of December of 2025), however the fit is still largely fitted, just not nearly as much as shown in the images. Ultimately, I intend on buying another one of these caps, but I'm going to have to look up the fabrics on another website before purchasing so I know what the color actually looks like.

The colours of the materials can vary depending on the lighting. We have two different colours of lining, our team chooses the colour based on the fabrics, the lining in your cap was Claret. The peak on this cap should hold its shape when bent, however based on what you have said about the peak and snug fit, I would recommend the Donegal Touring Cap Tweed as I think this will be more suited to what you’re looking for.
