Wool is an ideal, natural fabric for headwear as it naturally warm, breathable, stain resistant, crease resistant and above all eco-friendly. This style is inspired by the long-ago common sight of men riding their bikes whilst going on social and work errands.
Whereas we do not recommend our Donegal Touring cap for cycling these days, it is ideal for keeping the sun from your eyes and keeping your head dry as you go for walks, run errands, and take leisurely drives.

This cap is my fifth Hannah hat; second Donegal touring cap, which is my favorite style. It is in the same tweed as my first, a JP Cap style, which I wore for years, but forgot it in the security bin at DUB :( after a two week tour around the wild Atlantic Way (see the action shot at Malin Head). So looking forward to wearing its replacement (other photo) on future travels! Great quality and service as always.

I Was in between sizes so they customized the cap to fit perfectly. Most impressed with customer service promptly returning emails, unlike other companies taking days for replies. You can tell they care about their name and quality over pumping out crappy quantities.

My fourth Hanna cap of 2025, I’m building quite a collection. This one is the Donegal Touring Cap in limited edition Irish tweed. The coloured flecks look fantastic and the heavier tweed provides excellent warmth. Currently own three of the touring tweed and they are by far my favorite style of hat I have ever worn. The tweed is nice and warm and is amazing in rainy weather. Wore for a few days in the uk and was truly amazing, and is great for the states in the winter. Could be a tad warm in the summer

I can’t resist the urge to reach up now and then, to run my hand over the top of the cap — to feel that soft-rough Donegal tweed under my palm. The only time I take it off is to admire it: the texture, the workmanship, the way the flecks catch light and play against whatever I’m wearing. It’s a hat to walk in, to drive in, to work in.
This is my second from Hanna Hats. I love both, but this one was my favorite from the moment I slid it on. It felt familiar — like being greeted by your dog after a long time apart.

Another beautiful cap from Donegal. This is Charcoal and black Harris Tweed. It’s exceptionally comfortable and a lovely herringbone pattern. The curved peak is just how I like my caps and the overall slim style is perfect. This arrived really quickly and was packed with real care - just in time for autumn and winter. The first two pictures are of the new hat, the last two I bought last fall when I visited your store.
This new hat is better in autumn. The fastening on the front of the brim is missing. The previous hat has a fastening on the brim and that is good when I want the hat to sit low on my head, for example when it is windy.
My friend has the same style of hat and he praised mine. His hat is similar to the hats I bought from you. I noticed the difference in the hats and informed him that his hat was made in Sweden and I have a genuine Irish hat. I proudly showed off my hat

The hat is perfect and just what I was looking for to complete my outfit for my sister's wedding and it is definitely going to be a regular part of my rotation of hats. I have to give a huge compliment to the customer support as when I ordered I had missed the additional time needed to make the hat on top of shipping time. Love this touring cap. The fit and quality are perfect. I was a bit skeptical as to its warmth as my vintage flat cap seems a bit heavier, but this hat has done well in -2.22 C weather. I own a vintage flat cap in tweed, 2 vintage flat cap in linen. All are outstanding, but I may try this style in linen (for summer) because of the more tailored look. Since I don’t have much hair the linen flat caps kid of sag around the ol noggin. Highly recommend Hanna Hats. Have had nothing but excellent experiences with Customer Service inquiries, ordering, or quality.

Got this hat from my fiancé as a birthday gift. Love it, very well built and fits me well. 7 7/8 is my fitted ballcap size so I got a XXL. By comparison, got one for 13 dollars on clearance (different brand) and it’s…. Not the same at all. This one is WAY better.
