The Daithí Cap, name after a 4th generation Hanna, is a full-bodied flat cap similar to the classic Vintage Cap but with a longer, curved peak. The extended peak makes it ideal for keeping the sun from the face whilst out walking, on the golf course, racetrack or whilst driving.
Each piece is crafted using authentic, high-quality Irish tweeds expertly stitched together using the ancient craft of quilting. Historically, quilted fabric was made from the salvageable parts of old clothing or blankets which were recycled to create a new patchwork fabric.
At Hanna Hats we use the highest quality tweeds to create our patchworks, and often cut patches from irregular shapes which are a by-product of our production, adding additional sustainability credentials to this eco-friendly cloth. Just like the head that wears this cap, each one is totally unique!

This is my fourth Hanna cap. I ordered it with specific colors in mind and they definitely created exactly what I wanted. The Christmas edition Donegal Touring Cap was actually one I won in the monthly drawing they have for new subscribers. I look forward to adding more Hanna caps to my collection, I get a lot of compliments on them. My next purchase will be the Erin which I will order in the colors of Christmas lights. This has replaced my Donagal tweed Glen Eske cap that’s 25 years old but was looking a bit tired on the peak. On receiving the new tweed cap I just love the extended peak ideal whilst driving to shade the sun .
If it last as long as my last one I’ll be 93 in 25 years so I guess it will get handed down . Lol. I love this cap so much I wear it around the house too so it only comes of at night I am very please and had loads of people say it’s right dapper so thank you “I Love it”

This was my first experience with Hanna Hats. I had been looking around for men’s caps and came across the patchwork Daithi cap and loved the style. In person, the cap looks even better.
