National Geographic featuring Hanna Hats and Wild Atlantic Way

The hearts of Donegal people everywhere burst with pride when National Geographic crowned our county ‘the coolest place on the planet’ earlier this year. Donegal is situated in the north west of Ireland and is a part of the Wild Atlantic Way, a stunning journey along the west coast of Ireland all the way from Donegal to Cork. Donegal itself boasts an abundance of beautiful beaches, quaint seaside towns and the highest sea cliffs in Europe, Sliabh Liag.

Eleanor Hanna of Hanna Hats featured in National Geographic

Hanna Hats of Donegal Ltd. was both humbled and delighted to be featured in this special edition of National Geographic. Our general manager, Eleanor Hanna was thrilled to be able to show the National Geographic team around our factory in Donegal Town. She walked them through the process of how our products are made and what happens at each stage to ensure we provide our customers with the best quality, Irish, handmade tweed products. Our age-old tradition of our bespoke tailoring ensures a long lifetime of your Hanna Hat, “yesterday, a customer came in with one he bought here 42 years ago” ….so what are you waiting for?
