Both hats are exactly the same size, that I gave the company , when I asked them to make my hat. The quality of the fabric is everything that I had hoped for. These hats are custom made by skilled tradespeople and these individuals are impeccable in their performance of their craft. I answered expected because I always expect top quality from Hannah. My first Hanna hat recently got a hole in it after almost 20 years of constant wear. I have also owned other Hanna hats and my son owns one as well. All top quality, wouldn't buy another brand of cap. I purchased my tweed flat cap to replace the one which I had for years and lost, tragically, in a fire.
That was an old London Fog that came from somewhere during my bartending years, lasted forever and turned out to be long out of production.(mine was probably 25-30 years old when I got it)
I spent hours on the internet before I found your site and I am glad that I took the time- it turns out that a 100% wool, hand made, black and grey tweed cap is not easy to come by - and yours checks all the boxes.
My new hat arrived here in the U.S. in about a week, runs true to your sizing chart, is comfortable and I love it.

I admired a Hanna Hat that a good friend has. So my wife got me a Daithi cap in blue and black herringbone for Christmas. It is beautiful! Then my friend ordered a second cap so, of course, I had to also. So I added a Vintage Irish tweed dark green fleck. I couldn't be more pleased. The passion for your work shows through in the quality. I enjoy looking at them almost as much as wearing them. Absolutely worth every euro/dollar. I get a lot of positive feedback. New hat is an awesome hat but my old one has a double fold on the rear inside linning? not sure how to discribe it but its a noticable thinner feel to finger and skull. Its thinner? one fold over not two? rear of head not front..
