My Dad wore one of your walking hats though out my youth. As a child his hat fit me but I quickly out grew his hat size. I loved his hat and I always wanted wished his hat would fit.
During the pandemic I felt I needed to treat myself to a new Hanna hat and satisfy my want for a hat like my dad's. I ordered my hat.
My hat quickly arrived in the mail but it was just a bit too small. Rather than returning it I simply ordered a larger size. Now, my brother and I are able to sport our own Patchwork Tweed Hanna Walking hats just like our dad's.

I visited your mill in 2011 with my family when we spent 3 weeks in Donegal' I bought a hat there almost identical to this one. We planned another visit to Donegal this year, but due to the virus, we couldn't get into your country. I had gotten many compliments on my hat here, but have about worn it out. so I decided to get one, even though the trip was off. I'm sure I will be wearing it most of the winter again ,as Iowa winters can be bad. I know it will not disapoint me, because frankly it is so well made and handsome, I love it. The hat is beautiful! I have had the pleasure of owning three Hannah hats, and they're always gorgeous and earn many compliments. The shipping was FAST, I didn't expect it to come in so quickly...about a week or so (to the United States). My third walking hat in patchwork, I now have a brown, a grey and a dark green brimmed version. I like the style, the excellent quality and long life of these hats. They never seem to show their age, even my ancient ones. I just get them dry cleaned occasionally and the look as good as new.

This hat replaces, though with pain, my old traveller hat which now, after more than 25 years solid use, litterally falls apart. I am not allowed to use this hat anymore when my wife is near me. When not I do grab the old hat because it folds so nicely, after all these years, into the pocket of my coat. The new one is still stiff but I trust this will change over time/use.
I must admit that I did away with the bunch of feathers. I love walking but hate hunting.

Je porte des casquettes Hanna Hats depuis 20 années. J'habite la bretagne nord près de St Malo et j'aime me promener avec mon chien sur les sentiers de bords de mer. Il me faut donc une casquette ou un chapeau confortable qui ne s'envole pas au vent et qui ne craint pas la pluie.
Dans les magasins "irlandais" de la région on ne propose que des casquettes et je viens de découvrir que je pouvais acheter directement chez Hanna Hats. J'ai donc commandé un "walking hat patchwork" pour tester et comme le test a été concluant j'en ai commandé un autre.
